Illegal tapping of fire hydrants on the rise in Detroit

Anthony Benning opened his first fire hydrant when he was 7. With a few turns of a wrench on a hot day, he could turn a Detroit street into a water park. For Benning, opening hydrants to cool off on hot summer days is an inner-city tradition. But Detroit Fire Department officials say it's an expensive and dangerous problem -- and it's on the rise.
